Cedar Ridge Creative Centre offers its annual visual arts day camp for children ages 8 to 13. Campers will have an exciting opportunity to create and experiment with Drawing & Painting, Printmaking & Sculpture, Arts & Crafts, Video, Pottery and Recreation. Sessions run for two weeks, culminating with an “Arts Revue” Parents night exhibit.

Please note: transportation, lunches and snacks are not included in the registration fee. Expressions is a nut-free camp. Please do not send any products containing nuts with your child. Also, Expressions DOES NOT allow registration for children outside of the 8 to 13 age restrictions. These restrictions are FIRM.

Spring and Summer camp available for Kindermusik (newborn to age 7), Suzuki Piano (age 4 & up) and Viva! - joy of singing (age 5 & up). The goal of 88 Keys is to introduce music to children at the earliest age possible in a way they can understand and enjoy music.

Multi-disciplinary arts day camp program as well as traditional camp activities such as sports, organized games, swimming and field trips.

Weekly art programs starting on Mondays throughout the summer.

Four weekly sessions in July. Activities include drama, dance, music, sculpture, printmaking, painting,and ceramics. Located at Crescent School at Lawrence and Bayview with indoor facilities that are air-conditioned.

Combination of Drama, Dance and Visual Arts. Three different camps are offered at several locations across the GTA. The Early Artist camp for ages 3-8, Creative Kids for ages 6-12 and Performance camp for ages 6-10 & 11-14.

Outdoor art, garden, play programs at Bloorview MacMillan Children's Centre. These programs bring children (with and without special needs) from the community together with the children at the rehabilitation centre to have a shared creative experience. Activities offered include gardening, woodworking, music (making as well as singing and percussion), clay making, baking in a wood-fired bread oven, costumes and drammatic play, painting, puppet making, dance, story telling, and more.

Weekly courses in traditional arts, cartooning, web design, (with Dreamweaver AND Flash) graphic design, and 2D and 3D animation.

DanceFuzion offers a variety of summer dance and performing arts programs for both the recreational dancer as well as junior, intermediate and advanced intensive levels.

Located in the former Toronto Stock Exchange building on Bay Street. The week-long, full day sessions feature activities such as drawing and painting, model building, jewellery making, fashion design, an investigation of current design issues, and an exploration of Canadian and international design. Visiting design professionals and field trips enhance each week's design programming.

Students will create various artworks in a wide range of different mediums and techniques. The goal is to inspire and nurture the creative process, enhance art skills and produce pieces that are personally significant while drawing inspiration from cross cultural examples. Each session will include an art history lesson with examples from around the world, daily outdoor play and one weekly trip to local galleries. MONDAY-FRIDAY 9-4pm 5 and up WEEK 1:July 3rd-7th (ARTS OF THE EAST)...WEEK 2: July 10th-14th (ARTS OF THE WEST)...WEEK 3: July 17th-21th (ARTS OF THE NORTH)...WEEK 4: July 24th-28th (ARTS OF THE SOUTH). Cost is $325 per week

Drama camps.

Drama & Historic Cooking Camp. Break from the everyday with a journey back in time to 1847 at Montgomery's Inn Museum. You'll make history in the original kitchen and throughout the Inn as you bring the past to life with cooking and drama workshops.

Dance n'Arts Camp (4-12years of age)- for aspiring young dancers in ballet, creative modern, jazz, hiphop and musical theatre with music appreciation and mask making, crafts, etc,June 28-August 20. Senior Dance Workshop (13-19)-focuses on jazz, hiphop, funk and lyrical - 12noon-4:30pm daily, June 28th-August16th. Dance Intensive for the Young Professional- (13&up)- daily technique classes in ballet, modern, jazz,choreography and composition, pointe and repertoire, with guest artists form the National Ballet of Canada and New York city.Workshops in Pilates body conditioning for dancers as well as African Dance, culminating in an end of session performance. July 5-23. This intensive is also available as a high school credit.

From storyboard to set design to final cut, students learn professional filmmaking techniques at the National Film Board of Canada Mediatheque. NFB Mediatheque workshops are led by professional filmmakers, animators and educators. A 4-week music theatre intensive in singing, drama, and dance, culminating in a fully-staged public performance. This summer 2006 show is Bye Bye Birdie by Lee Adams and Charles Strouse which will be performed at the Miles Nadal JCC's, Al Green Theatre.

This interactive art program provides children with the unique opportunity to be in full control of a puppet show. They do everything from writing the story line and making a variety of puppets to organizing a final production for their friends and families. Puppeteer Productions is a two-week program with classes in the mornings and afternoons. It is located in a studio behind Praxis Gallery at 1614 Queen West (close to Roncesvalles and Queen). This program is backed by the Ontario government and Enterprise Toronto.

Music Theatre Workshop - The Company (13-17 yr olds). July 4 to July 21, 2006. Campers work together to present a comic musical. Daily classes refine singing, dancing, and acting skills. Music Theatre Workshop - The Young Company (8-12 yr olds). This two-week camp offers creative classes in singing, dance, and stagecraft.

Shakespeare camp.

Acting, Voice, Music, Movement, Art, Design - This two week fun-filled experience is designed to bring Shakespeare Alive. Participants create and stage their own performance of one of the following plays. Twelfth Night, The Tempest, Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, The Comedy of Errors, and Romeo & Juliet.

Dance camp for both new dancers and pre professional dancers. A mixed program of ballet, modern, creative movement, yoga and art is offered. Newly renovated 13,000 square foot facility. Full day and half day options are available.

Become a Yamaha idol! Perform on stage! Record a CD! Play with a band! Instruction in keyboard, guitar, voice, violin, flute, sax and clarinet. Yamaha Superstars is a brand new Toronto summer program for budding or experienced musicians aged 6 to 12! Originally known as the Yamaha Summer Arts Camp (since 1997), Yamaha Superstars is an exciting new performance-oriented camp with both one and two-week sessions available. The Yamaha Superstars program will inspire and motivate your child to make music for a lifetime! By introducing and enhancing the creative aspects of music, your child will understand what it means to be a true musician - a performer, accompanist and creator. All of our sessions culminate with a live stage performance, awards and CD recording! Programs include: Major Instrument, Ensembles, Ear Training, Theory, Improvisation, Composition and Stage Performance!
